These Terms govern Loomia, a stitch-and-row counting tool that authenticates a session through a device-unique identifier rather than a personal account. You do not submit written or electronic identity materials. All functions are free. There is no coin store, wallet, paywall, or in-app purchase. Advance with the needles.

Legal basis
Loomia is designed to meet widely recognized data-protection standards. This document does not cite a named national statute. The legal basis is lawful processing of the device-unique identifier solely for authenticating the same device across launches; purpose limitation so the identifier is not used for advertising, scoring, resale, or profiling; data minimization so we do not collect names, government identifiers, or payment credentials as a condition of use; storage limitation under the 180-day idle rule; and user control so you may request a written account of identifier use.

Scope of the service
Loomia lets you set stitch and row counts, place shaping or color nodes, tap once per row, receive decrease warnings, and file progress cards in an in-app archive. Optional cover images, if you grant photo-library read access, are copied into the app sandbox. The app does not write to the system album, open a camera, or record audio. These Terms cover the software and notices. They do not create a marketplace or paid subscription.

Core rules of use
You agree to use Loomia only for lawful craft tracking on devices you may operate; not to forge a device identifier or circumvent sandbox isolation; not to store images you lack the right to copy; and to treat counting results as decision aids, not manufacturing guarantees. We may suspend a session that spoofs identifiers to evade deletion. Losing the device may lose local projects unless you exported an archive.

Device identifier
Collection, use, and storage of the device-unique identifier comply with lawful-processing requirements under applicable data-protection laws and are limited to identity authentication. The identifier is not a marketing profile and is not combined with a civil name, government file, or payment account.
The identifier is kept from your last successful login for 180 days. When that idle window lapses, it is deleted automatically. We do not keep any backup of the identifier after deletion. A later launch is a new authentication event, not a restore.
You may ask the platform to query and confirm the usage record of the device identifier. We will give a written reply within 15 business days of a complete request sent to Loomia@gmail.com, stating whether an identifier is held, the authentication purpose, and the idle-clock status. We will not use the identifier to infer household members or location history.

Cross-border use
If you use Loomia in different countries or regions, processing of the device identifier follows the data-protection rules of the place of use. A shorter local idle window replaces 180 days. Extra local disclosures appear in-app before the identifier is created or refreshed. Cross-border use does not create a new purpose. If a jurisdiction forbids identifier-based authentication without a safeguard we cannot meet, we disable authentication there rather than collect extra personal data.

Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without selecting a named national code. Disputes begin with good-faith resolution through the contact address, with a 15-business-day target for identifier questions. If negotiation fails, either party may pursue relief in a forum of competent jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing here limits non-waivable rights under applicable data-protection laws, including the right to lodge a concern with a competent supervisory body where one exists.

Changes and acceptance
Revisions move the Last Updated line. Continued use after notice is acceptance. If you reject a revision, stop using Loomia and request identifier deletion under the device-identifier course. Using Loomia means you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or open the app.
